Welcome to KORE Academy!
KORE Academy serves students with various learning differences such as dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, language based learning disabilities, processing or sensory disorders, and more. Our program is individualized and highly structured to provide success for each student in school and in life. We invite you to explore our web site!
KORE offers an information session on the first Wednesday of every month at 8:45 a.m., September-May.
(NOTE: The Spring Open House on April 5th replaces BOTH the March 2nd and April 6th information session.)
If you would like to find out more about KORE Academy, please call us to reserve a spot in one of these sessions. This is an informative session and is intended for parents only. Call us at 859-971-7129. We are located in Lexington, Kentucky in the basement of Porter Memorial Baptist Church.

SUMMER INFORMATION: During the summer, we do not conduct information sessions. If you are interested in your student attending KORE Academy for the fall, you will submit an Application (click on this link) and submit current (within 2 years) psychological and academic testing. You may want to visit the Admissions section of this site. Once we have the application, our director, Carol Douglas, will email you to schedule a meeting.
SCHOOL CLOSINGS DUE TO WEATHER:
NOTE: Effective with the 2014/2015 school year, KORE Academy will NOT follow the FCPS snow/weather schedule.
KORE Academy will post weather related CLOSURES or DELAYS on channels 18, 27, & 36, and will send out an email to all families in the event that school will be closed or delayed due to weather. If inclement weather arises during the school day and students will be dismissed early, we will send out an email announcement and begin contacting parents via phone until at least one contact person has been reached. Parents are expected to arrange for students to be picked up as soon as possible.
